My favorite Sci-Fi series is a trilogy called Lilith's Brood by Octavia Butler. The three novels of the series are Dawn, Adulthood Rites, and Imago. Dawn is my favorite of the three because my favorite character (Lilith) is only in the first book. I find the whole book to be fascinating and a realistic look on how humans will always resort to trying to kill one another even when they are on the verge of extinction.
