Re: Eleven (Jane)
So what does everyone think, Eleven or Jane?? Personally I hope El continues to be her nickname, but I can see Jane becoming more of a thing so she can move forward from the lab.

Very misunderstood girl. She's had no love in her life, so she's confused and doesn't know how to take harsh criticism. Seems like with the help of Hopper, she's beginning to understand that criticism is ok in life.Hawkins' Medic wrote:So what does everyone think, Eleven or Jane?? I like her. Ele is starting to comprehend what's right and wrong.

It's been a while since we talked about Stranger Things, and you may have stowed this recent season of the Netflix hit away like Dart in Dustin's room. But while you thought everything was going to be just fine for the time being in Hawkins, IN, things have gotten a little out of control. What started off as a little pollywog of a theory is gaining some real traction on the internet to morph into a full-blown online Demogorgon. But let's press rewind on this VHS.
Season two of our favorite '80s-inspired Netflix hit sees Millie Bobby Brown's Eleven grow into her supernatural powers (not your typical nostalgic coming-of-age story). By episode seven, Brown is exploring the dark side of Eleven. Unlike most teens, whose angst is shown off by listening to punk rock and wearing black leather, Eleven not only follows suit, but also uses her powers to inflict pain on others. By the end of the season, Eleven is a full-on badass and closes the gate to the Upside Down. The final shot of the season as we leave the Hawkins Snow Ball is the Mind Flayer looming over the school in the Upside Down dimension while "Every Breath You Take" by The Police plays. Very comforting, right?
Fan theories have been growing like tunnels under Hawkins since season two finished, and there are two interconnected theories we're definitely struck by. For season three, we know Eleven will meet more of her "siblings" from Hawkins Lab. But just like her interaction with Kali showed us, that isn't necessarily a good thing. Eleven's darker side has been explored, and we're bound to revisit it.
The Hollywood Reporter has raised some suggestion that Eleven could switch teams, leading her down a dark, vengeful path. Remember, Dr. Brenner is somehow still alive, and he probably deserves to be eaten by a Demodog.
According to some fans, Eleven's role in the Upside Down could have been greater than just opening the gate; she could have possibly had a hand, or mind, in creating it while under the eyes of Brenner.
Remember that the Mind Flayer, the main villain of season two, is fully aware of Eleven's powers. Their connection will most definitely be addressed in season three. It's safe to say that Eleven is on the Mind Flayer's . . . mind. There we said it.
Just when we thought we had shaken off the weird, floating spores of the Upside Down, they seem to be hanging around us again. Whether or not you follow all of the tunnels (rumors and theories) back to the Upside Down by revisiting season two, we have a lot to think about until we return to Hawkins in 2019.
If This Theory About Eleven Comes True, We Quit Stranger Things
